The owners of the site reserve the right to ask guests not adhering to these house rules to
immediately leave the site without refund.
1 - Respect
1.1 For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, please respect each other’s privacy.
1.2 Consideration for the farmland and surrounding areas.
1.3 Livestock within the field, no feeding, shouting or scaring the animals.
2 - Low Noise Policy
2.1 Here at Ewe & Me Glamping we are located in a rural location. We expect all guests to respect
other guests and local residents during their stay and as such, we have a Low Noise Policy. This
entails no music, loud talking, singing or shouting between the hours of 10pm and 8am so that all
our guests can have a restful, peaceful stay. Excessive noise will not be tolerated. If this Low Noise
Policy is not adhered to then guests may be asked to leave the site.
3 - Arrival/Departure Procedures
3.1 Check-in time is from 3.00pm and check out is by 10am prompt on the day of departure.
3.2 It may be possible to amend these times subject to availability and prior arrangements being
made. These alternative arrangements will incur a £20.00 surcharge. Further details on check-in will
be provided by e-mail shortly before the arrival date.
3.3 Whilst we do employ cleaners, guests are expected to leave their pod in a neat and tidy
condition.
4 - Maximum Capacity of two guests per Glamping Pod
4.1 Each pod is for 2 guests, with one guest being 21 years old or over.
4.2The pods and associated facilities are booked for guests’ use only. No third parties are permitted
to use them.
5 - Waste & Refuse
5.1 Wipes, sanitary waste, cloths etc. must not be flushed down the toilets. Please use the bins
provided.
6 - Breakage/Damage
6.1 We reserve the right to charge guests, should the Glamping Pod be left in an unsatisfactory
condition or if there are any damages or breakages to the Glamping Pod itself or the furniture,
furnishings or any other items provided. If this is the case, your card will be charged and an invoice
emailed to you.
6.2 We appreciate that minor damage and breakages can occur and that in most cases these will not
be charged for. However, it is requested that guests advise us in the event of any breakage or
damage which has occurred so that we can replace or repair the item/s before the next guests
arrive.
6.3 Guests are not permitted to remove any of the Glamping Pod furniture, furnishings or any other
items provided.
6.4 The key must be left in the safe key box on check out. Failure to do so will incur in a charge.
7 - Repairs
7.1 Please let us know if any repairs are required to your Glamping Pod during your stay. The owners
reserve the right to enter your Glamping Pod for service or repair purposes.
8 - Smoking and Vaping
8.1 Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any of the Glamping Pods. Guests are permitted to
smoke or vape in their own designated outdoor patio area. If you are found to be smoking or vaping
inside the Glamping Pod you will be immediately fined £100.
8.2 Cigarette butts and ash are to be disposed of responsibly, in the ash trays provided.
8.3 During hot, dry summer months please be mindful of dry land when disposing of cigarette butts
and under no circumstances throw into the farmland.
9 - Barbeque
9.1 The use of disposable barbeques is strictly prohibited.
10 - Hot tubs
10.1 All of our Glamping Pods include Commercial, HSG282 compliant hot tubs. We kindly ask all
guests to ensure the cover is on and securely clipped at all four corners, whilst not in use, ensuring
the hot tub stays up to heat whilst also helping the environment. The hot tubs come equipped with a
cover lifter to assist with manoeuvring.
10.2 The hot tubs are strictly for guests’ only. No third parties are permitted to use them.
10.3 Four guests is the maximum number of guests in the hot tub at anyone given time.
10.4 The hot tub instructions can be found in the Guests Booklet in your room and on a notice next
to each hot tub.
10.5 Please note, accepted hot tub chemicals will be used when cleaning and maintaining the hot
tubs.
10.6 Daily chemical checks are mandatory for your safety.
10.7 Any breakages or faults MUST BE REPORTED immediately and, in some instances, may incur a
cost to you for the replacement value of the item broken or damaged.
10.8 Please use plastic glasses only as any broken glass will damage the hot tub.
10.9 Please do not place any other items in the hot tub which may damage the hot tub or filters such
as floating wax candles.
10.10 Swimwear must be worn at all times.
10.11 Please note we will endeavour to make sure your hot tub is up to temperature when you
arrive however, we can make no guarantee regarding this.
10.12 We may need to start draining your hot tub from 9.00am on the morning of your departure.
11 - Temporary Structures
11.1 No temporary structures such as gazebos, belle tents or tents are permitted.
14 - Lost Property
14.1 Items must be claimed within two weeks of departure. Where relevant, postage and packaging
charges will apply for the return of goods.
15 - Complaints Procedure
15.1 We take all comments from guests very seriously and in the unlikely event you wish to make a
complaint you may contact the Owner directly via email and we will attempt to resolve any issues as
soon as possible.
16 - Behaviour
16.1 Anti-social behaviour such as bad language, aggression, destruction to property, harassment of
other guests or any illegal activities carried out on the site will not be tolerated. We expect all our
visitors to respect and look after the site and the Glamping Pod you are staying in. If any guests do
not adhere to this request, they will be asked to leave the site without any refunds.
17 - Electric Cars
17.1 Please do not charge your car onsite, the electricity supply is not suitable and may cause
significant damages.
17.2 Anyone found charging their car will incur a charge. There are car charging facilities locally in
Northallerton.
18 - Fireworks, Chinese Lanterns, Balloons and Drones
18.1 Fireworks, Chinese lanterns, confetti balloons, helium balloons, water balloons and drones are
strictly prohibited.
Terms and Conditions
Before your visit Ewe & Me Glamping, please take the time to read the information below. It
includes vital information regarding cancellation policies and services available which will assist you
with planning your trip.
A - Payment Policy
Your booking will be made in accordance with the Booking Terms and Conditions of Ewe & Me
Glamping which are available to view on our website.
To secure your booking a deposit is required at the time of booking; we do not accept provisional
bookings so please do not make a booking unless you are in the position to honour it. Once a deposit
has been paid the remaining balance must be paid through BACs or debit or credit card at least 14
days before your stay.
The number of guests staying in each pod must not be exceeded unless by prior arrangement with
the owner which, if permitted, will incur an additional fee.
B - Cancellation/No-Show Policy
A full refund is available up until 28 days prior to arrival.
75% refund within 27-21 days prior to arrival.
50% refund within 20-14 days prior to arrival.
No refund 13 days or less.
If an online booking is made which is subsequently found not to be in accordance with these Site
Terms and Conditions, then we may cancel the booking within 5 working days of it having been
made. In the event of a cancellation by us for this reason, only 88% of the monies paid for the
booking can be refunded. If you are in any doubt as to whether your booking meets our Site Terms
and Conditions, then please give us a contact via email, info@eweandmeglamping.co.uk BEFORE you
book your stay.
C - GDPR and Confidential Information
Ewe &Me Glamping will keep any confidential information or personal data supplied confidential
and will only use it for the purposes of supplying the goods and services, or for our legitimate
business interests.
D - Liability
Ewe & Me Glamping holds appropriate insurance cover for the property and its use as a holiday site
and use reasonable care and skill in delivering the services. Where there is any valid claim in respect
of the services provided by Ewe & Me Glamping you may be entitled to a refund of the price paid, or
a portion of the price paid.
Ewe &Me Glamping’s liability in respect of any loss of good will, loss of business, loss of profits, loss
of anticipated savings, loss of use or for any other consequential, special or indirect loss or damage
will be NIL.
Nothing in these terms will exclude or limit liability for death or serious injury caused by Ewe & Me
Glamping’s negligence.
If Ewe & Me Glamping are limited or hindered from providing any facility, booked by you due to
circumstances beyond its control eg: Government intervention, Acts of God, civil disturbance, war,
national or local disaster, strikes, labour disputes, then the liability of Ewe & Me Glamping to you
shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Ewe &Me Glamping in respect of the booking. The
deposit paid shall usually not be refundable (being an approximation of the value of goods or
services already rendered) and (where the value of the goods or services already delivered to you is
greater than the value of the deposit) we shall be entitled to be paid additionally for all goods and
services delivered to you up to that point. Ewe & Me Glamping will not be liable for any additional
losses whatsoever suffered by you as a result of such circumstances.
Any of your own equipment and property, including vehicles, brought onto the site is at your own
risk and Ewe & Me Glamping accepts no liability for loss or damage.
These terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
